Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Boundary |
Boundaries of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park proclaimed under Subsection 31 (1) of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975 (CTH). For administrative purposes, the Amalgamated Great Barrier Reef Section is divided into four management areas. |

Reefs |
Major coral reef structures within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area as defined by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. Includes drying or emergent reef areas of major coral reef structures and details those reef areas which may be submerged or exposed during tidal fluctuations from HAT to LAT. |

Coastline and Islands |
Coast, islands, islets, exposed rocks and cays of Queensland as defined by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. |

Marine Bioregions |
Boundaries of the bioregions within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. |

Designated Shipping Areas |
Boundaries of the Designated Shipping Areas of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park proclaimed under Section 59 of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975 (CTH) and described in Part 10 of Schedule 1 of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Zoning Plan 2003. |

Traditional Use of Marine Resources Agreement (TUMRAs) |
Traditional use activities in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park are managed under the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975 (CTH), and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Regulations 1983. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Zoning Plan 2003 recognises that under section 211 of the Native Title Act 1993, native title holders may undertake traditional use of marine resources in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. |
