The GBRMP Regulations require that, under some specific circumstances, permit applications are subject to public notice in the Commonwealth Gazette and in local and State newspapers. Such notices provide an opportunity for the public to formally comment on those applications. Any comments received must be considered by the GBRMPA when making its decision on whether to grant a permit.
