When do you need a Marine Parks permit?

Before any activity is undertaken in the Marine Park it is essential to check the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Zoning Plan 2003 to see if the activity is allowed, and whether the activity requires a Marine Parks Permit. Should you still be unsure or need any clarification, contact our Permits Unit by phoning (07) 4750 0700.
