Reef Snapshots - Aerials of Reefs
 Ribbon reefs occur on the edge of the continental shelf and form a broken barrier along the coastline. |
 Patch reefs are usually round or oval (Fitzroy Reef). |
 Deep natural channels have been carved through the Pompey Complex. |
 Fringing reefs are often found around continental islands. (North Direction Island) |
