Catchment and Coastal Reef Advisory Committee members
The Catchment and Coastal Reef Advisory Committee (CCRAC) provides advice to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) and, in particular, the Coastal Ecosystems and Water Quality Section.
The CCRAC will meet twice each year, generally in Townsville.
Who’s on the Committee
The CCRAC is a competency-based committee with members providing a cross-section of stakeholder expertise and interests in areas relevant to the ecosystem conservation and sustainable use of the Great Barrier Reef. There is an independent Chairman. The Committee is appointed for a three-year period. The Committee is supported by the GBRMPA's General Manager, Environment and Sustainability and Director, Coastal Ecosystems and Water Quality (and any other relevant Director), who attend each meeting.
