Burdekin river catchment 2004 land use mapping data

The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) through the Queensland Land Use Mapping Program has produced a consistent and seamless statewide land use dataset. This dataset and the mapping methodology are described by Witte et al. (2006). The 1999 and 2004 land use dataset for Queensland provides the basis for monitoring and mapping of land use change. 

The table below from van den Berg and Jamieson (2006) provides a summary of 2004 landuse in the Burdekin River catchment:
