Outlook Online 2009
Contribution of the Great Barrier Reef to employment
Access Economics, 2008:
"Total Full Time Equivalent (FTE) employment has decreased over the 05/06 to 06/07 period. It is of note that some sectors of employment have increased over the last year (particularly direct contributions from visitors within the GBRCA, and indirect contributions from visitors from the rest of Queensland and interstate). The biggest loss in FTE was both direct and indirect GBRMP recreational use."
