Range of activities undertaken by recreational users

The most popular water-based activities in 2008 were swimming, motor-boating and fishing, with snorkelling, sailing, diving and jet-skiing being significant additional activities. These have changed in relative popularity compared to five years ago, where swimming was most popular, followed by fishing and then motorised boating.
