Recreational vessel registrations along the Great Barrier Reef coast
The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) receives data from Queensland Transport on private vessel registration figures, which is summarised into a table and published on the GBRMPA website.
The upward trend of private vessel registrations provides one indication of the likely increase in recreational use of the Marine Park.
