Total number of licences per fishery in Queensland is shown, together with the monthly average of licences actively reporting catch in each fishery for 2007 - data was sourced from DPI&F CFish database. The text box indicates the GVP estimate per fishery - data was sourced from the DPI&F Annual Status reports for each fishery for 2007, or where there was no formal estimate, from information provided by relevant fishers. Trawl = otter trawl; Spanner = spanner crab; line = combined reef line, inshore finfish and spanish mackerel; Net = includes all nets except bait nets; BSW = blue swimmer crab; TRL = tropical rock lobster; MAFF = Marine Aquarium Fish fishery; BDM = Beche de mer.
