Monitoring environmental conditions on the Great Barrier Reef

Each year, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority consults its partners to gather expert advice of climatic forecasts for the upcoming summer season, and to monitor conditions on the Reef. This information guides the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority's Reef Health Incident Response System to ensure the response plans allow for timely and appropriate preparation and management actions.
