Residents with an interest in the Great Barrier Reef are invited to nominate for the new Bowen-Burdekin Local Marine Advisory Committee (LMAC). The Bowen-Burdekin LMAC is a new committee, one of 12 regional committees established from Bundaberg to Cape York that provide advice to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA). The new LMAC will commence meetings during the 2012-2015 LMAC Term.
