The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority wishes you a very happy Christmas and New Year.
Opening hours
Our offices in Townsville, Cairns, Mackay, Rockhampton and Canberra will be closed from Tuesday 25 December 2012 and will re-open on Wednesday 2 January 2013. On Monday, 24 December 2012 the office will be operating regular business hours.
During this closure period, there will be several people on call and key services will continue to operate as usual. Please use the important contact phone numbers provided over this period.
Reef HQ opening hours
Our national education centre Reef HQ Aquarium is closed Christmas Day, but is open every other day from 9:30am to 5pm.
