Public consultation now open on proposed upgrade to boating facilities at Clump Point, Mission Beach until 17 February 2018.
On the 1 January 2018 three remaining amendments to the Whitsundays Plan of Management commence. These amendments relate to the definition of a year, significant bird sites, and aircraft taxiing at Whitehaven Beach.
Information on the Great Barrier Reef Summit — Managing for Resilience — which took place on 24 and 25 May 2017 and involved over 70 regional, national and international delegates.
