Summary Remittance Form

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) is required to track all payments against individual permits.  A new Environmental Management Charge (EMC) form has been introduced to assist operators in clearly identifying their EMC remittance at the end of each quarter.

Who needs one?

The summary remittance form is to be used by operators that hold more than one permit OR by operators that have multiple operations (for example, a number of permitted vessels; a vessel and beach hire permission, etc) incorporated on one permit.

What do I do with it?

This form is to be filled in at the end of each quarter and sent in attached to all of the relevant charging returns submitted.

If you have made arrangements with GBRMPA to make a single payment for more than one permit you must include the multi-permit reference number on the top of the summary remittance form.  If you have one permit or do not wish to use a multi-permit reference number leave this space empty.
