Great Barrier Reef Water Quality: Current Issues
Global atmospheric change and inshore water quality deterioration with their associated impacts are regarded as the most important threats to the long-term survival of the Great Barrier Reef ecosystem. This document provides an overview of current issues and information concerning water quality in the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, and provides the necessary context and background to support the Great Barrier Reef Catchment Water Quality Action Plan.
