Capricorn Coast LMAC video competition

The Capricorn Coast Local Marine Advisory Committee is calling on the region’s aspiring video producers to help promote the issue of marine debris across the Great Barrier Reef, and in particular the Capricorn Coast area.

It includes a range of rubbish — from plastic bottles, to buckets, fishing nets and gear, cigarette butts to ropes, plastic bags and packaging.

To enter, make a two minute video promoting the issue of marine debris across the Great Barrier Reef. There are two categories in the video competition: 1. primary school students (8-12 years), 2. high school students and adults (13+ years). A $500 prize voucher will be awarded for each category.
